Pat Luders, Sculptor

Honour the remarkable people in your family, community or organization by commissioning a life-size portrait in bronze.

Commissioning a sculpture is a major consideration for most people.  Please note there is no charge for an initial consultation. Inquiries are welcome and confidential.

When the Patron and the Artist reach an understanding to proceed with a Portrait in Bronze, a contract is developed, based on the Patron’s requests and contractual guidelines provided by the sculptor’s professional advisory body, CARFAC.

An initial non-refundable down payment is due when signing the contract. A second payment is due on when client approves the clay likeness. Pat really wants you to be happy with your portrait!  Portrait will be released to the Patron on receipt of the final payment.

Please note:  All payments are fully refundable if the artist is unable to meet contractual obligations.

It is possible to create a portrait in plaster once the mold is fabricated, and then move to a bronze at a later date.  There is a risk however, that if left too long the mold may deteriorate and become unusable.

Pat gratefully acknowledges a grant from Columbia Basin Trust and Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance which supported the creation and exhibition of the two portraits, "Sophie" and "Jim".
